Underrated, I think. So well done, telling a story across decades of time.
It opens (spoilers!) with the moon landing, being watched from NASA mission control. But they don't look as happy as they did in our timeline. And they have to wait a moment for the first words from the moon's surface to be translated from Russian.
This means the Americans are desperate to get some sort of win, because the Soviets are ahead, so the space race continues, fighting for any 'firsts' they can get - woman in space, woman on the moon, settlement on the moon, landing on Mars, etc.
