Underrated, I think. So well done, telling a story across decades of time. It opens (spoilers!) with the moon landing, being watched from NASA mission control. But they don't look as happy as they did in our timeline. And they have to wait a moment for the first words from the moon's surface to be translated from Russian. This means the Americans are desperate to get some sort of win, because the Soviets are ahead, so the space race continues, fighting for any 'firsts' they can get - woman in space, woman on the moon, settlement on the moon, landing on Mars, etc. ## Star City Spin-off show, seeing things from the Russian perspective. Lots of people trying to do great things, but this time under a rather brutal totalitarian regime that can never be seen to make a mistake. Manages to do a good job of keeping some sympathy for most of the characters - even many of the ones doing terrible things are either convinced they're doing the right thing for the collective good, or just too scared of what will happen to them if they don't; or even that if they don't do something terrible, someone else will come along and do something even worse.
