I wouldn't say I'm a huge anime fan, but I've watched a fair bit, and enjoyed a lot of it.
## Yuru Camp
I love this show. It's just so sweet, such relaxing viewing. No real excitement, no real conflict. Just some girls going camping and having a nice time.
It has the common trope of a loner, introvert girl, who gets brought out of herself and learns how good it is to spend time with friends. But it also goes the other way, which is less common - the other girls learn from her the value of being independent and spending time on their own.
## Frieren Beyond Journey's End
A thousand-year-old elven mage goes on a 10-year quest with two humans and an elf, to fight the demon king and free their world from demonic tyranny. The story starts when they return.
It does have battles and demons, but it is, for the most part, quite a gentle story. The main theme is how different time seems for an elf with such a long lifespan. The decade-long quest didn't seem long to Frieren, but is a significant chunk of their lives to the humans. Oh, and she sleeps *hard*.
## K-ON!
I enjoyed K-ON a lot - it came before Yuru Camp, and it wouldn't be too far off to call Yuru Camp 'K-ON with camping'. Similar idea, but they're playing together in a band.
## Tokyo Ghoul
Only watched the first season. Really liked it, but somehow never got around to watching any more. Not sure why. The theme song is amazing.
## Attack on Titan
Another one we watched one season of then never got back into, but it was good.
