We have some weird history with the Switch. Sam wanted a Switch, so we got the original one, and both played with it a lot. Mario Rabbids Kingdom was great (X-COM but cute), and we enjoyed some of the Pokémon games, and others. After a while, we stopped using it, and ended up giving it away to a friend. But Sam missed it, and we ended up buying the OLED version. But neither of us ended up using it much. Then the Switch 2 was announced, and I was very tempted. But I realised there was a simple way to stop myself wanting one: get the Switch OLED out, and use it. I knew I wouldn't, and if I didn't want to use that one, there was no reason to think I'd want to use the Switch 2 either. But I *did* end up using it a lot, and it's perfect for [[Stardew Valley]]. But it did somewhat solve the problem a different way - if I'm playing Stardew Valley, there really wouldn't be much to gain from a Switch 2.
