When the Switch 2 launched, I was tempted, but I managed to resist. We'd had the original Switch, but mainly used by Sam. We also had the OLED version, which Sam used for a while. I'd had a try of it, but didn't really take to it. When the temptation started to build, I had another go with the OLED Switch, knowing that I'd tried before, and I wouldn't love it. And if I didn't really love the older one, the new Switch 2 wasn't *that* different that I'd suddenly love that one. But it backfired. I'd got back into [[Stardew Valley]], and it's great on the Switch. And with a few of the other games we had, I really enjoyed using it. And I had some money available from Christmas, so I ended up buying the Switch 2. I'm still loving it so far, probably very much helped by [[Pokopia]]. The bigger screen is really nice, and LCD panels have improved enough that it's not noticeably bad to me after the OLED. The new JoyCons feel pretty good to me, too. I almost entirely play handheld, but dropping it in the dock to play on the TV is nice and easy.
